About the Gremlin

The story of Growling Gremlin Games starts with a dog. Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Ash, is the absolute center of our family. When he plays, he makes these unique, goofy growling noises that earned him the affectionate nickname of "the gremlin." His undeniable, gremlin-like charm became the namesake for our studio.

Beyond our resident mascot, we are a three-human, family-run independent team driven by a shared love for world-building, storytelling, and immersive gameplay. What started as a learning project has grown over time into our cozy little studio. Between coding systems, writing lore, and designing levels together, we are pouring everything we have into our craft. Without investors or corporate timelines to dictate our vision, we have the freedom to just be a husband, wife, and daughter making the kind of games we want to play, entirely on our own dime. And usually, we do it all with our favorite gremlin snoring on our laps.

Our Debut Title

We are currently deep in the trenches of development on our first game. We aren't quite ready to share the title, the world, or the mechanics just yet; however, we are building an experience we can't wait for you to explore.

Our debut adventure is tentatively slated for release in 2027. Check back here for updates, dev logs, and our official reveal as we get closer to launch.
